Who’s Who Women of Influence

January 2021 – Las Olas Magazine

What advice would you give young women?

Be true to yourself. Work hard, but also KNOW YOUR WORTH. Walk away from the table when respect is not being served. And think about having a baby before the age of 47. Hahahaha!

How do you see your earning potential compared to male counterparts?

I have the same earning potential, but I believe it’s tougher for women because we have to balance children and family with work so it’s more of a juggling act for us.

What keeps you up at night?

My son, baby Colton. LOL! He’s my first child, so I sleep with one eye open, always.

What are you and/or your company doing to stay relevant during these challenging times?

I’m stepping up my marketing. I believe marketing works. I’m very fortunate that the luxury real estate market is still strong. For safety protocols, I require masks and booties during showings and offer hand sanitizer and gloves. I will only allow one broker and buyer in the house at a time. I believe it’s important for us to be responsible and respectful during this time.

What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about my family. I worked hard to have my child and I’m blessed that my dream came true.

With COVID now, what’s your biggest challenge to balance your profession and family?

Not having the support of friends and family has been a big hurdle! This virus stresses me out. I’ve had to get into a new routine with work and baby Colton that does not include relying as much on other people. Terry Kilgore, Sandy Tagliamonte and ONE Sotheby’s Realty have been so supportive. They help me with my showings when I can’t get a babysitter. I’m very fortunate that I have had some amazing buyers and have locked down recent record sales on Las Olas at $9,400,000 and $8,825,000 and Sunrise Intracoastal at $6,700,000. I’m praying everyone stays safe during these trying times.
