Susan Rindley Sells

December 2020 – Las Olas Magazine

This past summer was a frightening time for Susan Rindley. She was a new mom at 48 and battling COVID.

“I was terrified for my son, for myself, “ says Rindley, “but we got through it.”

Fast forward 4 months and Rindley has set real estate records. She has sold more than $50 million in real estate in east Fort Lauderdale this year alone. She credits her drive, her commitment to her clients and her marketing.

“I spend A LOT of money on marketing my properties, but I also bring the buyers. I believe my buyers want to see all South Florida has to offer, so I take them across all three counties – Miami, Broward and Palm Beach to show them the lifestyle and the neighborhoods in the different areas. They need to get a feel for the place they’re going to call home,” says Rindley.

With families staying home, being in the perfect home is more important than ever before. Rindley says she’s seeing a lot of people from the Northeast moving here because they want the South Florida sunshine, access to our waterways and a tax break. South Floridians are also choosing to move locally into their dream home because they can get a good price for their current home and interest rates are so low. It’s a win-win market for sellers and buyers.

Rindley has always believed that lifestyle and location are the selling points for any home. After the ups and downs of this year, she has also found a new appreciation for her family, her clients and her community.

“I was born and raised in South Florida. I appreciate everything Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach have to offer, but at the end of the day – it’s the people that make it special.”
