The family firm has a portfolio of commercial properties in New York, Aspen, Vail, Orlando, Tampa, Nashville and South Florida.

What inspires or motivates you daily?

I am inspired and motivated daily by my 4-year-old, Colton James. He is my joy. When it comes to business, I was born with a fire in my belly. I love learning, growing and changing and am always up for a challenge. If someone tells me it can’t be done, that motivates me.

Three things you’ll always find in my office.
Readers, orchids and Colton’s monster trucks.

What do you find to be most rewarding about your work?
I love finding my clients a beautiful home in the right neighborhood. Where you live has a big impact on your happiness, so bringing joy to my clients is very rewarding. I work hard to provide my clients with what they’re looking for, and at this point, almost all my business is referrals.

In what ways have you seen the Fort Lauderdale community evolve over the years?
Fort Lauderdale has been known as the Yachting Capital of the World for many years, but now South Florida is becoming more and more popular because of our sporting events. We have all the professional sports teams — the Dolphins, the Heat, and the Florida Panthers. Plus, the top soccer player in the world, Lionel Messi, now lives in Fort Lauderdale. We also have major sporting events like the Miami Open tennis tournament and the Miami Grand Prix race.

Could you highlight any charitable organizations or mentorship programs that you support?
I want to leave the world a better place. I want people to feel like they were treated fairly by me. I am passionate about philanthropy. I am involved with the Junior Achievement of South Florida, 4KIDS, PAWS, Habitat for Humanity, and Royal Dames of Cancer Research.
