Key Biscayne

Sandwiched between two incredible state parks, Crandon Park to the north and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park to the south, and hugged by Biscayne Bay, the beach-studded town of Key Biscayne has some of the finest located real estate in the Miami area. Properties on Biscayne Bay are ideal for boaters and scuba divers, but those on the east side of the island offer unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean and its sandy beaches.

When it was incorporated in 1991, Key Biscayne was already a popular destination for the country’s elite. Former President Richard Nixon purchased three waterfront homes in 1969 for himself and his friends Charles “Bebe” Rebozo and Robert Abplanalp, and other high ranking political and economic powerhouses have also called Key Biscayne home. From outdoor recreation in some of Florida’s most pristine natural places to exploring historic homes and the only federally recognized underwater archeological trail, life in Key Biscayne means adventure at every turn.
