Lauderdale By The Sea

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, also known as “LBTS,” is a small city situated just north of Fort Lauderdale and south of Pompano Beach, west of the Atlantic Ocean and east of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is a charming and upscale seaside town with local restaurants, shops and bars and a sizeable increase in population during the winter months. A narrow, long island separated from the mainland by the Intracoastal, LBTS spans the distance of several city blocks to the Atlantic. The town is located on a barrier island, and its lovely, popular beaches are visited by Broward County residents as well as tourists from all over the world.

The real estate mix in LBTS ranges from ranch homes to newer construction on the water, as well as townhomes and condo projects. LBTS residents and their guests enjoy the quaint energy of a small town coupled with all of the amenities and comforts of a major metropolitan destination. The famous Anglin’s Fishing Pier is a popular destination for tourists and local fisherman looking for a unique and fun experience by the water.
